Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Johnson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Mega Boes has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Johnson sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Boes is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Mega Boes wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Johnson has his takedown stuffed

and Boes counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard.
Johnson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Boes wants to stand but Johnson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Mega Boes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

and Boes counters with a nice double leg into side control. Johnson won't be happy with that.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
