Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between El Chavo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan has chosen Haka as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Duncan uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chavo.
Duncan misses with a body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Duncan. Chavo does a little dance to reset his feet.
Duncan tries to land a front kick but Chavo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Duncan looks to score with a jab to the body but Chavo is just out of range.

Chavo gets a takedown into half guard.
Chavo throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Duncan is looking to improve his position.
Duncan is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Chavo jumps into side control!
Chavo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chavo scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Duncan to see if he's OK.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chavo lands a nice forearm strike.

Duncan is not content to let Chavo control the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duncan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chavo wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duncan keeps working.
Chavo lands a decent elbow from side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chavo throws an elbow but Duncan slips to the side and avoids it well.
Duncan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Chavo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Duncan takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Chavo connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Duncan some visible discomfort.
Duncan tries to buck Chavo off but Chavo is having none of it.

Duncan is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Chavo is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
