Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Man D (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Atomic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). D comes to the cage accompanied by The Prodigy - Firestarter. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Man D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Atomic!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
D throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Atomic tries to clinch up
and D counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Atomic thinking.
D throws a leg kick that is checked

and Atomic counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
D is trying to stand.
Atomic not landing any meaningful shots this time.
D trying to control but Atomic postures up.
Atomic passes into side control, despite D's attempt to control the position.
D is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Atomic off and has taken his back!

D trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Atomic doesn't escape.
D avoiding Atomic 's attempts to control his hands.
Atomic is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
What can Atomic do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Atomic turns into D and is now in his guard.
D is trying to control the position but Atomic postures up.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Man D wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Atomic will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Man D is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Atomic throws a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Atomic misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Atomic looks gassed!

Atomic manages to get an easy takedown there - catching D on his heels. He'll look to pass D's guard now, I'm sure.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as D holds on and takes a little breather.

Atomic wants to stand and escape but instead D has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

D gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
D keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Man D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Atomic.
Atomic slips under a jab.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Atomic shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in D's guard.
D working a defensive guard here.
Atomic throws a big elbow that misses.
D wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Atomic working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
D looking for a sweep. Not yet D, not yet.
D manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Man D will probably get the nod.
That's time! D's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Atomic changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. D tries to avoid it but Atomic manages to keep hold of a leg and drag D to the ground. D escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Atomic tries to clinch there but D circles away.
Atomic fails with an attempt to clinch.
Atomic wants to clinch.
A punch lands to the side of Atomic 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Atomic shoots in and drives through. D sprawls well.

Atomic moves into range and clinches up with D.

Atomic has D pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. D manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Man D has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tom Atomic.
D looks to throw an elbow but misses.
D stalls.
Atomic looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Atomic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

D fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Atomic, pushing him back against the cage.
D is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Atomic is defending well for now.
D misses with a punch to the body.
Atomic has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

D escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Tom Atomic is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

D cracks Atomic with an open hand slap.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Atomic throws a head kick that misses.
Atomic blocks a low kick nicely.
Atomic shoots in but D avoids the takedown attempt easily.
D will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A nice leg kick lands there from D.
Atomic is breathing heavily.
D lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

It looks like Tom Atomic has been cut.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A battle for position here, against the cage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Atomic is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables D to keep the fight standing.
D is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
D blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
D pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
D gets underhooks to prevent Atomic's takedown attempt.
Atomic working hard to break the clinch.
D lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Atomic breaks from the clinch.

Atomic shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. D manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Atomic would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
D pulls Atomic in close to prevent any damage.
D looking to hit a scissor sweep but Atomic is one step ahead there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now D is on top in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man D dominated that second round.
The cut man is working on Tom Atomic's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Atomic is defended easily by D.
Atomic moves to clinch but D breaks away
and D makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
D fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Atomic manages to avoid it.

D sends Atomic crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! D is motioning to the referee to let Atomic up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Atomic is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! D throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Atomic is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
