The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson lands with a shot to the body.

Oooh a lovely combination from Recksun sends Jackson down but not out. Recksun dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Jeremy Jackson has been cut.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Jackson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Recksun wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Recksun misses with the ground and pound.

Recksun decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Recksun connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Jackson tumbling to the canvas! Recksun pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Jackson was done - good stoppage!

A relieved looking Hugh Recksun thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
