The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shaw changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Goldberg looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Goldberg tries to buck Shaw off but Shaw is having none of it.
Goldberg manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Goldberg is looking for a sweep. Shaw is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mike Goldberg hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Shaw is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Goldberg's half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

I would just about give that final round to Mike Goldberg.
