Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Canuto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and clark McCahon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). clark McCahon struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 136.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Canuto drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
McCahon striking off his back but it's not causing Canuto any problems.
McCahon throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
McCahon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Canuto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Canuto is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Canuto tries to free his leg and advance position but McCahon is retaining full guard.
McCahon wants to stand and escape but Canuto is having none of it.

McCahon lands a jab-cross combination.

and Canuto counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McCahon's guard now.

McCahon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Canuto has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can McCahon defend it? Canuto steps over the head and cranks it - McCahon is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Canuto!
