The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pires takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Wild lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

A slapping leg kick lands for Wild.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wild chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wild connects with a good right hand that stumbles Pires. Pires circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Wild stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wild wants it to stay on the feet.
Pires is breathing heavily.
Wild takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pires falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Wild drops Pires with a huge uppercut! Pires drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Wild is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
