Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brendan Conlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Brendan Conlon was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brendan Conlon!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Eddie Farnsworth and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan connects with a single shot there.
Conlon fails with a takedown attempt.
Conlon takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Conlon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Morgan throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Morgan connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Conlon momentarily.
Morgan scores with a jab to the jaw.
Morgan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Dexter Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Conlon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Morgan circles away.
Conlon misses with a hook to the body
and Morgan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morgan scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Morgan scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Conlon doesn't seem bothered though.
No luck for Conlon with that takedown attempt.
Dexter Morgan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brendan Conlon.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Conlon on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Morgan clobbers Conlon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Conlon avoids the body shot from Morgan.

Dexter Morgan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Morgan ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Morgan lands with a right hand.
Conlon is trying desperately to land a takedown but Morgan is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Conlon.
Morgan darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Morgan cracks Conlon with a good jab.
Conlon is rocked!
Conlon on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Conlon is still on wobbly legs! Can Morgan finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Morgan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Conlon walks into a straight right hand from Morgan.
Conlon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Conlon throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Conlon looks gassed!
Morgan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Conlon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Morgan counters with a nice uppercut.
