The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ojala shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ojala was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Katarn might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ojala looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Ojala takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

I really don't envy Katarn right now.
Ojala is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Katarn up.

Ojala escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Ojala decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Katarn's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Katarn is on top in guard.
Katarn distracts Ojala with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Ojala is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Katarn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Ojala is breathing heavily.
Katarn stands and throws Ojala's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
You can see the frustration on Ojala's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Katarn lands a strong strike to the head of Ojala. That's dazed him! Katarn looking to finish here. Ojala is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Katarn lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
