Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ozuma Obata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thi Santanna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Obata might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hijack The Terrorist Group - Hijack. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Obata does it's job there.
Obata misses with an uppercut
and Santanna counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Obata circles away from the clinch attempt.
Santanna tried to score with a low kick but Obata checks it.
Obata scores with a jab. Santanna acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

It looks like Thi Santanna has been cut.
Santanna ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Obata moves away.
Santanna throws a sloppy head kick and Obata moves out of range easily.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Obata - that will leave a mark!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Obata misses with a head kick.

Santanna uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Obata.
Santanna misses with a looping right.
Obata uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Santanna.
No joy there for Santanna, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Obata lands with a thumping leg kick.
Santanna blocks a head kick by Obata.
Obata connects with a solid leg kick.
Obata throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Santanna stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Santanna bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Santanna takes a kick to the side of the head.
Obata feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Santannas jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Obata lands a nice hook to Santanna's body. Santanna takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Obata scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Santanna misses with a body shot.

Obata feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Santanna sprawling to the canvas! Santanna rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Obata finish him?!

Santanna is rocked!

Obata connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Santanna to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Obata!

Ozuma Obata decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
