PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pence Apene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yukii Ogata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ogata has chosen Eminem - Not Afraid as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Pence Apene has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Pence Apene seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Apene shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ogata as he jumps to the side.
Nice takedown defense from Apene. No joy for Ogata on that attempt.

and Apene counters with a nice body kick.
Apene shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ogata as he avoids it easily.
Ogata shoots in looking for a takedown. Apene tries to sprawl out of it but Ogata keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Apene manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pence Apene has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yukii Ogata.
Horrible takedown by Ogata or perhaps it was just good defense by Apene which made him look bad.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
