Jacobs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting. Alvarez has chosen Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks as his entrance music. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!On his way into the cage it seems that Gomer Jacobs has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gomer Jacobs seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alvarez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jacobs manages to avoid it.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Alvarez, right into the meat.
Jacobs has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Gomer Jacobs has been cut.
Jacobs misses with a takedown

and Alvarez counters with a crisp right hand that drops Jacobs! Alvarez lets Jacobs back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Jacobs is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jacobs dives in and grabs Alvarez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Alvarez pushes down on Jacobs's head and hops out.
Alvarez throws a leg kick but Jacobs sees it coming and moves out of range.
Alvarez lands a jab to Jacobs's midsection.

Jacobs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Alvarez is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Jacobs like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Jacobs from another fist facial!
