Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Park (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Slevin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Park misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Park, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Slevin stuns Park with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Slevin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Park manages to avoid it.

Slevin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Slevin tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Park's elbow.
A short right from Slevin on the inside.
Slevin throws a head punch that misses.
Slevin makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Slevin has a couple of punches blocked by Park.

Park pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slevin is looking to clinch but Park is avoiding it.
Park tried to score with a low kick but Slevin checks it.

Slevin gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Park to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Park tries to bum rush Slevin with a series of wild strikes but Slevin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Slevin throws a lazy right hand but Park sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Slevin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Park was well out of range. Poor timing from Slevin.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Slevin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Park connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Slevin scrambles back to his feet.

Slevin is working an open guard so Park takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Park tries to close the distance and clinch but Slevin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
