Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Namig Osmanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gusandall Ingunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ingunn has chosen BKJN vs Partyraiser as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Namig Osmanov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gusandall Ingunn!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ingunn looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Ingunn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Ingunn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Osmanov is keeping the position for now.
Osmanov wants to sweep but no luck.

Osmanov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ingunn doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ingunn manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Osmanov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ingunn defends it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Osmanov has his foot on Ingunn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ingunn works his way back into a safe position though.

Osmanov is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ingunn is aware though and is defending well.
Ingunn wants to stand and escape but instead Osmanov has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Osmanov looking to sit in guard and control but Ingunn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ingunn distracts Osmanov with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Ingunn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Osmanov is keeping the position for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ingunn thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ingunn got a little sloppy there for a moment and Osmanov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ingunn has managed to get both his arms back between Osmanov's legs - danger averted.

Ingunn wants to pass the guard but Osmanov is keeping the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Osmanov is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ingunn tries to free his leg and advance position but Osmanov is retaining full guard.
Ingunn wants to control from the top but Osmanov keeps moving.

Osmanov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Ingunn doesn't defend quickly enough and Osmanov has managed to lock this one up! Can Ingunn escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Osmanov on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Namig Osmanov!
During a confident post fight interview, Namig Osmanov thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
