Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jayson Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Numero Cero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmons comes to the cage accompanied by Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing 2011 Remix. Cero has chosen Hate Me Now - Nas as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmons takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Cero lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Timmons fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cero manages to avoid it.
Cero throws a wild body kick that Timmons sees coming a mile off.

Cero throws a leg kick but Timmons moved away.
Timmons avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Timmons throws a sloppy head kick and Cero moves out of range easily.

Timmons closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cero's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Cero is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Timmons slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Cero is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Timmons working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Timmons sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cero is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The strikes coming from Timmons are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Timmons wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cero keeps working.

The fighters circle momentarily. Timmons darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Numero Cero is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Timmons fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cero.

Cero moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Cero pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cero tries to score with a low kick but Timmons moves his leg out of the way.

Timmons closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cero circles away.

Cero misses with a straight right.
Cero dips to his left and cracks Timmons with an uppercut!

Cero lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Oh Timmons is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Timmons uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cero.

Timmons throws a hook but Cero avoids it easily.

Cero swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Timmons.
Timmons thuds his right hand into Cero's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Timmons dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cero. That did some damage!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Timmons changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cero tries to avoid it but Timmons manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cero to the ground. Cero escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jayson Timmons will probably get the nod.

Timmons goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cero is on top in guard.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Cero enables Timmons to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Cero manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Timmons slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
