Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Leland Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and So Hai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Palmer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Annihilator - Fun Palace. Leland Palmer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to So Hai's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palmer stuffs the takedown.

Hai shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Palmer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hai grinds an elbow into Palmer's temple.
Palmer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hai off and has taken his back!
Hai turns into Palmer and is now in his guard.
Palmer controls Hai momentarily but Hai frees himself.

Palmer is looking to sweep but instead, Hai has passed into half guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hai passes Palmer's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Palmer moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Palmer has his foot on Hai's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hai works his way back into a safe position though.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hai sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Palmer tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hai knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Palmer cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Palmer postures up and throws a big right hand. BOOM! Right on the button! Hai is out cold - huge knockout for Palmer!

After the fight, Leland Palmer was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
