The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chase drives through with a takedown into guard.
Halperin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chase doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chase manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Chase wants to pass the guard but Halperin is keeping the position.
Chase avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Halperin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Halperin is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Chase frees his head nicely. Oh but Halperin has switched to an armbar! Chase is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
