Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Gonawyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrei Cote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonawyn comes into the arena with Crush 'em - Megadeth blaring out of the sound system. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cote throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gonawyn shoots and misses
and Cote counters with a two punch combo.
Gonawyn slips under a jab from Cote.
Cote fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Cote lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gonawyn circles away quickly and effectively.
Cote throws a series of punches but Gonawyn avoids them all with ease.
Cote throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Gonawyn has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Gonawyn counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cote's guard now.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

It looks like Andrei Cote has been cut.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Gonawyn prevents Cote from getting back to his feet.
Gonawyn slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
