Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nikira Stag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Foster might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama. Nikira Stag told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stag pivots, looking for a leg kick but Foster is out of range and Stag settles back down.

and Foster counters with a takedown into side control.

Foster is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Stag knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Foster thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stag is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Foster off and has taken his back!

Foster is having to fend off submission attempts from Stag, who is looking to sink in the choke. Stag doesn't have the hooks in though and Foster manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Stag tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Foster drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Stag dives on top into guard.

Stag is looking to stand up but Foster won't let him.

Stag stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foster swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Foster working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Stag doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Stag manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Stag controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Stag throws a sloppy strike and Foster has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Stag is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Foster!

Caleb Foster really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that New World Order Clothing logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
