PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sync Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sub Mityou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fowler tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Mityou swivels and escapes.
Sync Fowler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fowler stuffs the takedown attempt from Mityou . Mityou gets slowly back to his feet.

Fowler shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Fowler is looking for a kimura here.
Fowler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Mityou is refusing to be controlled, as Fowler sits in half guard.
Fowler tries to pass the half guard into mount. Mityou knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fowler is working for a kimura but Mityou is defending it quite comfortably.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fowler fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fowler misses with a takedown attempt - Mityou sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sync Fowler. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fowler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mityou but Mityou pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mityou throws a right and a left that Fowler avoids nicely.
Fowler closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mityou circles away.

Fowler wants to finish this one by submission but Mityou is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fowler.

Fowler is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Fowler extends the arm and Mityou is forced to tap!

A relieved looking Sync Fowler thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
