Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Titus Garner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garner comes to the cage accompanied by Main Event. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hodges blocks a jab.
Garner misses the shot to the body.
Garner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hodges moves away.
Some bone on bone action there as Garner checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Garner cracks a nice hook into Hodges's ribs.
Garner throws a hook but Hodges avoids it easily.
Hodges tries to land a front kick but Garner steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hodges ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Garner lands a nice looking body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hodges.
A big left from Garner misses.
Garner rushes Hodges and presses him up against the cage.
Garner just leaning against Hodges, taking a breather.
Hodges wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Garner has him pressed against the cage.
Garner tries to throw a body punch but Hodges avoids it by throwing Garner back against the cage.

Garner keeps control of Hodges as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Garner lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hodges backwards.
Garner throws a head punch that misses.
Garner tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hodges's elbow.

Hodges pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Garner forces Hodges back against the cage and clinches.
Hodges breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Garner lands a leg kick that knocks Hodges off balance momentarily.
Garner just misses with a punch to the body.
Hodges catches Garner with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garner fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hodges manages to avoid it.
Garner tries to clinch up
and Hodges counters with a good low kick that Garner was not able to check.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hodges. That's going to slow Garner down.

Garner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hodges swivels and escapes.

Hodges throws the left hand but Garner avoids the punch easily.
Hodges throws a leg kick which misses Garner's front leg but catches the back leg as Garner tries to avoid it.

Hodges throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hodges thows a body kick. Garner tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Garner throws a jab but it's blocked by Hodges.

Garner scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Garner misses with a straight left.
Hodges is looking to land body kicks.
Hodges misses with a hook. Garner ducked under it nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

That was a close second round but I would say that Titus Garner will probably get the nod.

Hodges uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garner.
Garner throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hodges misses with a double jab.
Garner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hodges looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Garner lands a decent elbow from side control.
Hodges is rocked!
Garner scores with punches from side control.
Hodges is still in real trouble! Can Garner finish him?
Hodges wants to control but Garner postures up.
Garner cracks Hodges with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Garner immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Hodges is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Garner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Titus Garner!
During a confident post fight interview, Titus Garner thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
