PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sabin Figaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Obadiah Klinefelter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Figaro comes into the arena with Prospect - Warrior blaring out of the sound system. Klinefelter has chosen Star Wars as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Figaro enables Klinefelter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Figaro manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Figaro manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Klinefelter manages to get himself to full guard.
Figaro advances to half guard.

Klinefelter is trying is best to control the position here.
Figaro throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Figaro wants to lay and pray for a moment but Klinefelter keeps working.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
The crowd cheers as Figaro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Klinefelter doesn't seem phased though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Figaro missing with a left hand there. Klinefelter was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Klinefelter feints and as Figaro raises his hands in defense, Klinefelter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Klinefelter postures up in Figaro's guard and throws a big left but Figaro blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Klinefelter won't allow Figaro to sweep him here.

Figaro looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Klinefelter is defending well. Figaro quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Klinefelter has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Figaro celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
