The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ronbo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Black uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ronbo.
Black scores with a jab.
Ronbo looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range.
Black moves out of range of the body kick from Ronbo.
Ronnie Ronbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ronbo tries to bum rush Black with a series of wild strikes but Black uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Black lands a body shot.
Black throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Ronbo moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.

Ronbo throws a leg kick which misses Black's front leg but catches the back leg as Black tries to avoid it.
Black lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Black closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Black regains half guard there - taking advantage of Ronbo's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Black walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ronbo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

enabling Black to counter with a crisp jab.

Black shoots for a takedown but Ronbo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
