Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Victor Creed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I am a real American kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Creed checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Ortiz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Creed.
Ortiz takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Creed throws a head kick that misses.
Ortiz on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Creed uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ortiz.

Ortiz tries to land a front kick but Creed steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Creed clobbers Ortiz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ortiz throws a shot from downtown. Creed moves away and avoids it.

Ortiz moves away from the strike by Creed.
Victor Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creed looks for the body kick but Ortiz saw that one coming.

and Ortiz counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Creed throws a chopping leg kick but Ortiz manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Creed is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ortiz can do to turn this around?

Creed jerks Ortiz's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Ortiz drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Creed goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Creed because Ortiz was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
