Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikael Sjoberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Franz Braun (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braun takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Sjoberg closes the distance and clinches.

Sjoberg has picked Braun up - he's going for a ride! Sjoberg dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Sjoberg seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sjoberg connects with a nice short shot to Braun's temple.

It looks like Franz Braun has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sjoberg looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Braun with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Braun had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Sjoberg is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Braun Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Sjoberg's back instead.

Sjoberg is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Braun has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sjoberg is looking to defend but Braun has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sjoberg! Braun pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sjoberg taps out and this one is all over!
