Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marin Buric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiger Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buric throws a sloppy head kick and Bear moves out of range easily.
Nice takedown defense from Buric. No joy for Bear on that attempt.

and Bear counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Buric!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bear throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Buric because Bear loaded up on that one.

Bear has hold of Buric's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Buric manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Buric tries to lock up and control but Bear gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bear goes for an armbar but Buric turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Buric.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bear manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Buric manages to get himself to full guard.

Buric is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Buric is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Marin Buric has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Bear is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Buric defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
