Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rin Itoshiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hulk Hogin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itoshiki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hito toshite Jiku ga Bureteiru (SZS Mod. Rap ver.). Hogin has chosen real american as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hogin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Itoshiki is trying to keep an underhook but Hogin manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Hogin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

and Hogin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Itoshiki's corner calls for a 1-2. Itoshiki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A left lands for Hogin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hogin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hogin throws a head kick that misses.
Itoshiki moves out of range of the strikes.
Hogin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Itoshiki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hogin somewhat.

Itoshiki gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hogin to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hogin has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Hogin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Itoshiki makes his way to full guard, as Hogin worked for a kimura.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hogin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hogin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Itoshiki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Itoshiki has escaped and now he's on top!

Itoshiki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hogin swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hulk Hogin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hogin has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
