Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Kowalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gorge Pierr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jack Kowalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gorge Pierr!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Johanna Lukiainen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kowalski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pierr throws a sloppy head kick and Kowalski moves out of range easily.

Kowalski drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kowalski throws a strike but Pierr rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kowalski holds on and takes a little breather.
Pierr is pushing down on Kowalski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kowalski is fighting to maintain full guard but Pierr has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pierr creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kowalski sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kowalski wants to get back to his feet but Pierr drags him back down.
Pierr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kowalski keeps working.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kowalski, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
