The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rosa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adams is fending him off so far but Rosa persists. Nope, Adams circles away and we're back to standing.
Rosa tries for a takedown but Adams sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rosa has his takedown stuffed
and Adams counters by moving into the clinch.
Chris Adams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alphonse Rosa.
Rosa misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Adams.
Rosa is trying to break free.

Adams is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rosa gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Adams blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Adams pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Adams drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Adams has hold of Rosa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Rosa seems comfortable defending it but Adams has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Rosa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Rosa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Adams couldn't care less - he's delighted!
