PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jager Statsy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Fitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jager Statsy had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Jon Fitch is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitch takes one to the side of the head.
Statsy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fitch at a distance.
Statsy misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fitch.
Statsy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Statsy instigates a clinch.
Fitch is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Statsy is defending well.
Statsy wants to stall.
Fitch has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Statsy after a bit of a struggle.
Fitch is working for takedown but Statsy is calmly controlling the position for now.
Jager Statsy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Fitch.

Statsy manages to break the clinch.
Fitch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Statsy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Statsy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fitch manages to avoid it.
Fitch doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Statsy cracks Fitch with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Statsy lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fitch at a distance.
Fitch looks gassed!
Fitch showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Statsy.
Statsy dips to his left and cracks Fitch with an uppercut!

Fitch is rocked!
Fitch gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Statsy gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Fitch is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
