Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Suneet Chandler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquin Shodo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chandler's entrance music is Trendy. A fine choice. Joaquin Shodo will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shodo closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Shodo lands in his opponent's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Shodo shoots for a takedown but Chandler saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Chandler bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shodo's guard.

Chandler postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Shodo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chandler, into his guard.

Shodo drops back looking for a leg! Chandler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Chandler manages to kick Shodo off! Shodo jumps back into Chandler's guard.

Shodo is posturing up here but Chandler has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Shodo tries to roll out but it's too tight and Shodo has to tap! Slick submission there by Chandler!
