PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pao Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rashad Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Pants On tha Ground. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson avoids the head kick by Ling.
Ling throws a leg kick but Jackson checks it.
Jackson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ling can pounce on him.
Pao Ling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ling breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jackson looks to land a left hand but Ling moved out of range nicely.

Jackson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ling manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jackson passes Ling's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Jackson is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ling doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Jackson.
Ling tries to kick Jackson off but Jackson keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Jackson uses his free foot to push down on Ling's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Ling.

Jackson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ling turns into him and now he's in Jackson's guard.
Ling is fighting to break Jackson's control of his arms but Jackson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Jackson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Ling defends well.
Ling is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ling throws a strike but Jackson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ling is looking to stand up but Jackson isn't so interested in that idea.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Ling throws a low kick but Jackson avoids it.
Ling on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Ling manages to break the clinch.
Ling throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Ling defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jackson.

Ling feints and then cracks Jackson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jackson down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
