Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Maciej Zegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rainbow Bright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rainbow Bright!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bright shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Zegan kicks off Bright and gets to his feet.
Bright shoots in for a takedown but Zegan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bright fails to land the takedown.
Zegan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bright backs up against the cage.
Zegan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bright manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Maciej Zegan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rainbow Bright.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bright is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Zegan darts in and clinches Bright up against the cage.
Zegan is pushing Bright up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Zegan lands an elbow inside that Bright shrugs off.
Zegan lands with a short shot to the head.
Bright is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Zegan is defending well.
Zegan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Come on Zegan - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

and Zegan counters by moving into the clinch.

Zegan rushes Bright and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bright tries for a takedown but Zegan manages to get underhooks.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zegan creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Bright goes for a takedown attempt but Zegan pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Bright takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bright tries to move into range but Zegan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Zegan stuffs the takedown attempt from Bright. Bright gets slowly back to his feet.

Zegan closes the distance and clinches.

Bright drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zegan pulls his leg out and moves away.

Zegan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bright fails with the takedown
and Zegan makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bright is trying to drag Zegan to the mat but Zegan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Zegan pushes Bright back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Zegan gets through Bright's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Zegan lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bright or not.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bright is still on wobbly legs! Can Zegan finish him?
Zegan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Bright's defenses.
The referee calls for Zegan to work.
Bright is breathing heavily.
Zegan working the clinch nicely. Bright is working for position but Zegan cracks him with a big knee to the head! Bright crumples up against the cage and Zegan lands two more shots before the ref can save Bright! This one is all over!
