Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ted Lange (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeremy Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jeremy Striker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Ted Lange's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ted Lange!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremy Striker!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lange connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Striker scrambles back to his feet.

Striker clinches with his opponent.
Striker stalling in the clinch.
Striker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lange's elbow.

Striker lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Striker is looking to take a break and control but Lange is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Striker performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Striker trying to control the action but Lange is working from the bottom.
Lange is trying to get back to full guard.
Striker works his way into side control.

Striker stands up and beckons Lange to his feet.
Striker throws the kick towards the body but Lange avoids it.

Lange throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Striker was covering up waiting for the punch and Lange finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Striker uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Lange gets a double leg takedown into Striker's guard.
Langeis looking to pass into half guard but Striker pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Striker is in guard.

Striker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lange is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lange throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Lange looking to control.
Lange wants to stand but Striker is controlling the position.
Striker trying to control but Lange is working from the bottom.

Striker's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Striker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lange, up you get!
No luck for Striker with that takedown attempt.

Striker tries to sprawl but Lange drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Striker wants to control but Lange is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Striker holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Lange content to control rather than advance.
Lange frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Poor strikes thrown by Lange there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Striker gets back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Striker makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Striker.
Lange being controlled here momentarily.
Lange missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Striker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lange's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jeremy Striker will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Striker gets caught napping as Lange dives in and scores a takedown. Striker manages to retain guard.
Lange trying to control but Striker is working from the bottom.
Lange throws a strike but Striker rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Striker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Lange controls Striker momentarily but Striker frees himself.

Striker gets to his feet. Lange looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Striker clinches.

Striker tries to pull guard but Lange won't allow it.

Striker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lange shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Striker's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lange tries to free his leg and advance position but Striker is retaining full guard.
Striker is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Striker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lange can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lange accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Lange trying to control but Striker is working from the bottom.

Striker looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Striker keeping moving, preventing Lange from controlling successfully.
Lange postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Striker clinches.

Striker's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lange is looking to clinch.
Striker misses with a kick to the body.

Striker takes the fight into the clinch.

Lange gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Striker tries to kick Lange off but Lange keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Striker wants to control but Lange is keeping busy.
Lange is stalling here. Striker is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lange seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Striker has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Striker has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

A leg kick checked by Striker.

Lange closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Striker to the mat! Striker manages to get full guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Striker is looking for a triangle but Lange pushes his legs off easily.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Striker can do anything to dispel that myth.
Striker is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lange pushes down on Striker's leg and manages to get into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lange is looking to stall here but Striker recovers full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ted Lange will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!



Lange gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Striker's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Striker wants to control from the top but Lange keeps moving.
Striker is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Striker stands up and waves to Lange to follow him.
Lange is looking to clinch but Striker is avoiding it.

Lange lands with a good body shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lange looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Lange takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Striker has closed the distance and engaged Lange in a clinch.
Lange can't find room to land a body shot as Striker controls the action.
Striker avoiding damage.
Lange tries to land knees in the clinch but Striker avoids the damage to the body.

Striker breaks from the clinch.

Striker moves into the clinch.

Lange gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Striker trying to hold on to Lange's head to control him but Lange postures up.
Lange stalling away here and it's allowed Striker to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Striker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Striker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lange gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Striker manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Striker lands a big shot there that rocks Lange but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Lange is wriggling around trying to escape.
Striker putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Striker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lange is surviving well by controlling Striker's body position as best he can.
Striker sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Lange can't escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Striker controlling the position easily from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jeremy Striker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Striker has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
