The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Harper napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Jones wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Harper, who protects the arm well.

Jones decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harper fails to land with a series of punches.

Jones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Jones cracks Harper with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones grinds an elbow into Harper's temple.

Harper takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Harper is trying to control Jones's posture but Jones avoids it.

Jones in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Harper looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Jones turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
