Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Bocek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Scalf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scalf misses with the combination.
Bocek doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Scalf connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bocek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Bocek got a little sloppy there for a moment and Scalf has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bocek has managed to get both his arms back between Scalf's legs - danger averted.

Scalf lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Scalf looks to land a combination but Bocek avoids it well.
