Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buzz Cloltran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cloltran has chosen Man In My City as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

16 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Buzz Cloltran!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angelo shoots in for a takedown but Cloltran shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cloltran ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Angelo moves away.
A solid leg kick lands there for Cloltran.
Angelo doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Cloltran counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

enabling Cloltran to counter with a crisp jab.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cloltran throws a solid leg kick but Angelo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Cloltran.
Angelo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Cloltran controlling the position.
Angelo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cloltran manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Angelo has Cloltran in his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cloltran with a nice head shot there.
Cloltran throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Angelo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Angelo isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Cloltran stacks Angelo on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Cloltran!
Angelo is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cloltran is working Angelo over with some ground and pound from side control.
Cloltran lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Angelo down.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cloltran scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Angelo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Cloltran can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buzz Cloltran!
