Lytle is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Light's Out. Christopher Lytle looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mason has Lytle up against the cage in a clinch.
Mason tries to score a body lock takedown but Lytle shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
A short body shot lands from Mason as the two fighters clinch.
Mason will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Lytle up against the cage.
Mason is looking to break free of the clinch but Lytle has double underhooks.
Lytle prevents Mason from breaking the clinch.

Lytle is trying to trip Mason. He has hold of a leg but Mason is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Lytle persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Lytle wants to control from the top but Mason keeps moving.
Lytle passes Mason's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Mason has one foot on Lytle's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Nice shot lands for Mason.
Lytle uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mason.
Mason throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Lytle fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Lytle circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mason lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Mason throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lytle.

Lytle looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Lytle is looking to advance position but Mason won't allow it.
Mason is staying active underneath Lytle, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lytle looks gassed!
Mason tries to kick Lytle off but Lytle keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Lytle in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mason tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Lytle!
