Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrick Miguel!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix lands an overhand right.
Horrible takedown by Miguel or perhaps it was just good defense by Matrix which made him look bad.
Miguel has Matrix up against the cage in a clinch.
Matrix breaks the clinch.
Miguel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Miguel dives in and grabs Matrix's left leg, looking for a takedown. Matrix pushes down on Miguel's head and hops out.
John Matrix has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Patrick Miguel.
Miguel wants to clinch up but Matrix keeps it at a distance.

Matrix cracks Miguel with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Miguel looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Matrix finish him?
An inside leg kick lands from Matrix.
Matrix throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nice takedown defense from Matrix. No joy for Miguel on that attempt.
Matrix fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Miguel checks it well.
Matrix lands a big right hand that sends Miguel crashing to the mat! Matrix stays standing though and waves Miguel back to his feet!
Miguel is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matrix connects with a crisp jab.
Miguel is still on wobbly legs! Can Matrix finish him?
Matrix works Miguel's body with a nice hook.
Miguel has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Matrix.
Matrix fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Miguel square on the jaw! Damn, Miguel is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). John Matrix!
