Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cassit Heiluu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Heiluu comes into the arena with Kerrankin Tarpeekseen blaring out of the sound system. Couture has chosen Mama said knock you out as his entrance music. Brandon Couture has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heiluu tries a low kick but Couture avoids it.
Couture lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Couture showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Heiluu.
Heiluu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Couture to score with a decent uppercut.
Heiluu throws a leg kick but Couture sees it coming and moves out of range.

Couture swings for the body but Heiluu moves out of range.
Heiluu throws a solid leg kick but Couture takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Heiluu.

Heiluu fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Couture is out of range.
Heiluu just misses with a punch to the body.
Heiluu throws a leg kick but Couture sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Couture pushes Heiluu away with a front kick.
Couture does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Couture digs a good body shot into Heiluu's ribs.
Heiluu avoids the body shot from Couture.
Couture lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Couture takes a shot to the body in his stride.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Couture connects with a body shot that sends Heiluu's belly button to the back.
No joy there for Heiluu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Couture keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Heiluu.
That kick from Couture tenderised Heiluu's leg. Heiluu is trying to keep his angry face on.

and Couture counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Good exchange - Couture coming out on top.
Couture tries to land a front kick but Heiluu steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Heiluu closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Couture to the mat! Couture manages to get full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Heiluu throwing strikes but missing.
Couture trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Couture wants to stand up but Heiluu is controlling him.

Couture looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Heiluu tries to free his leg and advance position but Couture is retaining full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brandon Couture wasn't active enough on the ground.
Couture throws the kick towards the body but Heiluu avoids it.
Heiluu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Heiluu looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Heiluu is trying to control. Couture wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Heiluu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Heiluu is keen to just control but Couture is a slippery customer.
Heiluu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Heiluu is looking to take a break and control but Couture is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Couture tries to roll over but Heiluu keeps him under control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Heiluu is stalling here. Couture is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Heiluu seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Couture has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Heiluu tries to buck Couture off but Couture is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Brandon Couture will probably get the nod.

Heiluu tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Couture is able to avoid easily.

and Couture counters with a head kick that crumples his opponent - he's in a world of trouble! Couture looks at the referee who does nothing so Couture lands a crushing right that sends Heiluu to the floor! This time the ref steps in to end the fight.
