Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pao Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haiki Masatupo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pao Ling is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ling throws a nice inside leg kick.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Masatupo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ling is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ling utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Masatupo drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ling dives on top into guard.

Ling drops back, looking for a kneebar! Masatupo looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Masatupo looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Masatupo!

Masatupo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Masatupo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Masatupo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ling avoids it really well and circles away.

Masatupo stalks Ling and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ling's face. Ling staggers backwards, shaken.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Masatupo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Ling manages to get himself to full guard.

Ling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Masatupo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ling avoids a punch combination nicely.

Masatupo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Haiki Masatupo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

A very excited looking Haiki Masatupo rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
