The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Carnauba sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Dias throws a leg kick which misses Carnauba's front leg but catches the back leg as Carnauba tries to avoid it.
Dias turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Rodrigo Carnauba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Carnauba fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dias sprawls well initially but Carnauba persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
