Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, William Harrison!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hayao Miyazaki!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Miyazaki - just one landing.
Harrison slips under a jab from Miyazaki.

Harrison darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Harrison prevents Miyazaki from improving his position.

Harrison is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Miyazaki is just riding it out for now. Harrison eventually gives up the hold.
Harrison wants to pass to mount but Miyazaki is defending the position.
Miyazaki is looking to improve his position.
Harrison seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harrison not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Harrison perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

We're going to have a standup here because William Harrison wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Harrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Miyazaki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Miyazaki looks to land a combination. Harrison sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.


It looks like William Harrison has been cut.
Harrison throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miyazaki's waist but Miyazaki gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harrison off to one side.

William Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harrison moves out of range of the body kick from Miyazaki.

Miyazaki closes the distance and pushes Harrison back into the cage.

Miyazaki is looking to clinch but Harrison is avoiding it.

Miyazaki feints a jab promting Harrison to slip. Miyazaki then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Harrison slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Harrison fails with the takedown.
Miyazaki lands a head shot.
Miyazaki changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Miyazaki looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Miyazaki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Harrison stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Miyazaki lands a jab to the nose.
Miyazaki lands a right hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Harrison fails with the takedown
and Miyazaki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Harrison thinking.
Harrison ducks right into an uppercut from Miyazaki.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harrison walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.


Harrison is rocked!
Miyazaki fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harrison.
Oh Harrison is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harrison has his takedown stuffed
and Miyazaki counters with a nice low kick that buckles Harrison's knee momentarily.
Harrison seems to have got his legs back now.
Harrison takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Harrison stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Miyazaki.
Harrison misses with a jab, cross combination.
Harrison walks into a jab.
Miyazaki lands a body shot.
Miyazaki connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Harrison's hands.
Harrison shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Miyazaki sprawls well. Miyazaki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Harrison gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miyazaki works Harrison's body with a nice hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Hayao Miyazaki dominated that round.
The cut man is working on William Harrison's cut.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Miyazaki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Miyazaki throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Miyazaki lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Miyazaki slaps away a takedown attempt from Harrison, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Miyazaki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Harrison walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Harrison.
Harrison closes this distance looking for a takedown but Miyazaki circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Harrison. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Miyazaki is looking to slow Harrison down with leg kicks.

Miyazaki tries to clinch up but Harrison circles away and keeps his distance.

Harrison on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Harrison takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
A decent looking cross lands there for Miyazaki.
Miyazaki stuffs the takedown.
Miyazaki cracks Harrison with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Miyazaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Horrible takedown by Harrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Miyazaki which made him look bad.
Miyazaki lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Harrison crumples to the floor! Miyazaki milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Hayao Miyazaki! Hayao Miyazaki retains his middleweight title!
A very excited looking Hayao Miyazaki made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
