Furman shoots for a takedown but Smith saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Smith had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Furman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Smith Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Furman's back instead.
