The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aioki bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nix with a hook.
It looks like Shinya Aioki has been cut.
Aioki slips a straight right by Nix.
Nix staying out of range there.
Nix misses with an uppercut. Aioki saw that one coming.
Clubber Nix seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A left lands for Aioki.
Nix works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Aioki is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aioki misses with a straight right.
Oh Aioki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nix scores with a shot to the body.
Nix does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Aioki seems to have got his legs back now.
Nix cracks Aioki with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Aioki falls to his knees and Nix doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
