Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Rockfist!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Emil Yanenko!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Rockfist lands an impressive looking overhand right. Yanenko doesn't seem phased though.
Yanenko shoots in looking for a takedown but Rockfist manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yanenko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Jack Rockfist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rockfist lands with a nice combination. Yanenko backs away looking to recover.
Rockfist stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rockfist wants it to stay on the feet.
Rockfist connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yanenko momentarily.
Yanenko swings for the body but Rockfist moves out of range.
Rockfist will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rockfist jabs Yanenko to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Rockfist has Yanenko up against the cage in a clinch.
Yanenko jumps guard but Rockfist turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Jack Rockfist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Emil Yanenko.
Rockfist is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Nice body punch from Rockfist - that landed with a thud.

Rockfist breaks the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Yanenko misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Rockfist to counter with a crisp jab.
Rockfist scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Yanenko doesn't seem bothered though.

Rockfist drives through and clinches with Yanenko against the cage.

Rockfist manages to break the clinch.
Yanenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rockfist but Rockfist pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Yanenko misses the body punch
and Rockfist counters with a left to the body.
Rockfist connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yanenko momentarily.
Rockfist comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A shot to the liver by Rockfist. Beautiful body shot.

Yanenko shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Yanenko is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rockfist doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Yanenko.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Rockfist tries to kick Yanenko off but Yanenko keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Yanenko passes the guard and advances to mount!

Yanenko looking for a guillotine from mount but Rockfist is having none of it.
Rockfist on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rockfist tries to get out of the position.
Rockfist trying desperately to get to his feet.

Yanenko throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Rockfist has his hands clasped together but Yanenko breaks the hold and Rockfist is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Yanenko!

During a confident post fight interview, Emil Yanenko thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
