The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takaraivo displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Marie throws out the jab.

Marie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Takaraivo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Marie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Marie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Takaraivo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Marie throws a punch but it's blocked by Takaraivo.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Takaraivo throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Marie crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
