The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laskownik tries to clinch

and Marcos moves into the clinch.
Laskownik tries to pull guard but Marcos forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Laskownik tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Marcos just stands there and leans against the cage.

Marcos gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Marcos slips a nice elbow through Laskownik's hands, connecting with Laskownik's forehead.
Marcos looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Laskownik tries to get to full guard but Marcos has control of the leg.

Laskownik is looking for a sweep. Marcos is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Marcos is nestled in close to Laskownik, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Marcos lands strikes from half guard.

Laskownik is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marcos pulls his head out easily.
Marcos scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Laskownik is rocked!
Marcos winds up and cracks Laskownik with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Laskownik is still in real trouble! Can Marcos finish him?

Marcos decides to return to a standing position.
Laskownik moves out of range of the body kick from Marcos.

Marcos closes the distance looking for a takedown. Laskownik stuffs it but Marcos still has hold of him. Marcos picks Laskownik up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Marcos slams Laskownik to the floor and that's really hurt Laskownik - he doesn't know where he is! Marcos throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
