These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Gutzeit.
Grygiel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Grygiel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Grygiel is looking for a kimura but Gutzeit is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Grygiel to get the leverage.
