The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Jake Cameron has been cut.
Cameron tried to score with a low kick but Severson checks it.
Severson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Cameron tries to score with a low kick but Severson moves his leg out of the way.
Severson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cameron goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Cameron misses with a low kick.
Cameron misses with a few strikes there.
Edward Louis Iii Severson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cameron throws a wild body kick that Severson sees coming a mile off.
Severson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cameron tries to work over Severson's front leg with a kick but Severson checks it.
Severson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cameron. That did some damage!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Severson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cameron lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Severson has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Severson and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Cameron counters with a series of strikes. Severson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Cameron misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Severson wants to clinch.
Cameron works the jab nicely.
Cameron is looking to land body kicks.
Severson moves in looking to clinch but Cameron pushes him off.
Look low, kick high! Severson uses the oldest trick in the book to send Cameron tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Severson is absolutely delighted - when Cameron wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
